| Hey, My cousin recently traveled with Delta Airlines and related her experience regarding their delta airlines baggage allowance. It was quite convenient that she was authorized to carry one personal item and one standard carry-on bag without charge. However, since she was not a SkyMiles member or on an international flight, she had to pay $35 for the first checked bag. She noted that the weight limit was strictly adhered to—50 pounds for each bag—and that exceeding this limit resulted in additional fees. Even with the fees, she found the process to be smooth and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff during check-in. |
